Mooplr knows where you’ve been and where you’re going
I’ve just added past and future trip integration to Mooplr. What does this mean? Well, it means that you can now click on one button and have a list of every city you’ve visited (or are planning to visit) presented to you without having to search individually for each one. Really useful if you want to create stickers of all the cities you’ve been to and want to save a bit of time.
I’ve had lots of lovely positive feedback on Mooplr so far (keep it coming!) and would love to hear from anyone using it - whether they’ve got suggestions, problems or just want to know what the hell a Mooplr is.

Nice one. I’ll put an update on the dopplr blog asap.

This is a great app. These look stunning. Is there a way of making these little graphics downloadable instead of directly sending them too moo? I’d like to print them together with some other stickers. Also I’d love to save them somewhere on my harddisk.
And another question… are you going to post the sourcecode somewhere? I’m just curious how this works.

Marcel, I’m planning on adding a preview feature shortly which should allow you to download the sticker images and save them for later.
I hadn’t planned on publishing the source code, but it’s pretty simple. I’m basically using a PHP wrapper for the Moo API (thanks to Dan Coulter: http://dancoulter.com/projects/moo-builder/) and another for the Dopplr API (which I wrote myself). I might publish the Dopplr API PHP wrapper at some point, once I’ve made it a little more robust.

Thank you, I’m really looking forward to that feature. Also thanks for the info.

Great app! Wondering whether there it would be possible to load up the ‘original’ top cities before adding my own locations (to make most use of the sticker book).

I’d love to be able to use mooplr, but it’s not working for me. I get to the make-stickers button, but when I click on it I get a 500 (Internal Server) error at http://www.mooplr.com/moo.php.
I’m using Safari under Mac OSX 10.5.6 on a MacBook Air.
Any idea what’s going on?

Henry, thanks for trying out mooplr.com. I must apologise, I’m afraid there appears to be an issue submitting some stickers & minicards right now. I’m working on it as we speak and hopefully it’ll be resolved shortly. I’ll let you know when it’s all good again.
Thanks for your patience!
